For two days, over 120 athletes from around the world will make the pink city vibrate with the sounds of chainsaws, axes, and saws, under the watchful eye of the iconic players and personalities of Stade Toulousain, the official partner of this event.
Organized since 2005 for individual events, and since 2010 for team events, the STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® World Championships are the premier competition in competitive lumberjack sports and attract over 13,000 spectators and hundreds of thousands of viewers annually in France alone. Based on techniques rooted in traditional lumberjack methods, athletes compete in a series of physically and technically demanding events, combining precision and speed in the handling of saws, axes, and chainsaws. Over 2,000 practitioners, spread across Pro, Women's, and Rookie categories, showcase this unique, intense, and spectacular sport each year.
